Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ready Coparents application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Ready Coparents is a private documentation and organization tool for individuals navigating co-parenting and custody arrangements. The Service helps users record custody exchanges, incidents, expenses, visitation notes, and related communication. The Service is provided for personal organization purposes only.

2. Not Legal Advice

Ready Coparents is not a law firm, mediator, or court-filing service. Nothing in the Service is legal advice, and use of the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship. Always consult a qualified attorney for legal guidance about your specific situation.

3. Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of records, files, screenshots, and other content you upload to the Service (“Your Content”). You grant Ready Coparents a limited license to host, store, back up, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of Your Content. Do not upload content that infringes the rights of others, contains malware, or violates applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of a court order;
• Upload another person’s private content (e.g., recordings, images) in violation of applicable consent or privacy laws;
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.

6. Subscription & Trial

Some features may require a paid subscription. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly). You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Free trials, if offered, automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. Payments are processed by a third-party provider (Stripe).

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@readycoparents.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, we will delete or anonymize Your Content within a reasonable period, except as required by law.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. READY COPARENTS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY LEGAL PROCEEDING. RECORDS YOU CREATE IN THE SERVICE MAY OR MAY NOT BE ADMISSIBLE AS EVIDENCE; ADMISSIBILITY DEPENDS ON LAW AND PROCEDURE THAT IS BEYOND OUR CONTROL.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, READY COPARENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD OR (B) USD $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Ready Coparents against claims arising from Your Content or your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
